Nominet Trust believes in harnessing the power of digital technology to improve lives and communities. As the UK’s only dedicated Tech for Good funder, they bring together, invest in and support people committed to using digital technology to create social and economic value. When they approached me about refreshing their visual identity I was only to happy to help.
Freeman Christie were brought in to help the Trust better understand their core values and the brand essence that they wanted to project through all their corporate communications. This provided an invaluable foundation on which to build the new look of the brand.
First we overhauled the visual identity by developing a fresh new colour palette, a more sophisticated approach to typography whilst introducing a stronger ‘documentary’ style of photography. I brought Sam Bevington and Andy Potts onboard to provide bold illustrations and a set of brand guidelines were developed to help explain the new brand identity.
