Based in Bristol, UK I have built a strong reputation for designing elegant and engaging solutions for large and small organisations across a wide range of sectors. It’s a matter of pride that many of my clients come back to me again and again and I am a firm believer that communication and teamwork are key to developing lasting relationships.
Through an approach driven by strategic enquiry and creative exploration I work closely with my clients to produce crafted design and brand solutions that are meaningful and effective. By collaborating with other specialists such as illustrators, photographers, web developers and printers I am able to tailor my approach according to my clients needs and provide them with a service which is both bespoke and cost effective.
Before setting up my own company I was the Design Director at Futurelab - an organisation set up to explore innovative approaches to technology and learning within Education. During my five years with the Futurelab team I was responsible for developing and managing its strong and distinctive brand as well as creating a host of project and resource sub brands. My work involved all comms channels from print, web, interactive and video through to conferences, exhibitions and mobile events.
Before moving to Futurelab I was at Saint Nicks (formerly known as Duttons Design), an integrated agency focussed on marketing communications where I developed fresh new identities for the food and beverage industry and worked on creative campaigns for the likes of Three and Sky.
Prior to this I worked at the BBC as part of their in-house design studio in Bristol where I helped create new BBC brands and cut my teeth in the rich media culture at Broadcasting House.
